To whom it may concern, Subject: Harassment, Privacy Violation, and Mental Trauma Caused by Illegal Online Loan Practices I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a highly traumatic incident I endured due to the unethical and illegal actions of an online loan provider. Several years ago, I obtained a small online loan of Rs. 5,000 and settled it in full. Later, I was offered another loan of Rs. 100,000 by the same or affiliated lender. However, I was then harassed into repaying over Rs. 30,000 within just a week—an amount I was unable to pay due to financial hardship. Despite explaining my situation and requesting additional time to repay the loan, the lender engaged in extreme forms of harassment and privacy violations. Without my consent: They accessed my personal WhatsApp account, Posted my National ID photo publicly, Sent defamatory messages and my photo to all my WhatsApp contacts, including my husband, Causing me immense mental distress and pushing me to attempt suicide. I was hospitalized for 19 days under medical treatment following this attempt. I reported the matter to the local police, but instead of offering full protection and justice, I was blamed and advised to remove my SIM card and remain silent. This response has further traumatized me and left me without justice or dignity. The psychological and reputational damage I have suffered is irreversible. The black mark left on my personal character and social standing can never be fully erased. I respectfully request that this incident be thoroughly investigated and: 1. The individuals or companies responsible for this harassment be identified and held accountable under the law. 2. Strong legal action be taken against illegal money lending and cyber harassment practices. 3. My privacy rights and mental well-being be protected. 4. Appropriate compensation and public acknowledgment be considered for the emotional and reputational damage I have suffered. Please treat this matter with urgency and confidentiality.
